This place was discovered by Wilkinson and Burton in 1823. The place is about 120 km east of the River Nile in the deep mountains about 700 m above the sea level where the Romans had cut Granite and built a villa for Hadran in Tivoli and the columns and floor of Temple Venus plus the public Baths.
During this trip, we will walk on the places where the Romans walked and worked, prayed in Goddess Isis Temple.We will enter the houses where they lived.
We will visit the Aquadoit where they used to transport water from the water well to their houses.
The Romans used donkeys to transport food from the River Nile crossing the desert for longer than a hundred kms to the quarries.
They used sledges to transport the rocks from the quarries to the River before they transport them to their country.
