Step back in time and explore the wonders of Ancient Egypt
Join us on a full-day adventure to Luxor, the ancient city of Thebes and one of Egypt’s most remarkable destinations. You’ll be collected from your hotel around 4:30 am (depending on your location) for a scenic journey of approximately 4 hours to the heart of Upper Egypt.
Your day begins at the Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of 62 pharaohs. Here, you’ll have the chance to visit the famous Tomb of Tutankhamun for an additional fee. Next, we stop at a traditional alabaster workshop, where local artisans demonstrate the craft of carving beautiful sculptures and vases from this soft stone.
We continue to the impressive Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a stunning structure carved into the cliffs of Deir El Bahari, dedicated to the sun god Amun. Nearby, you’ll also see the towering Colossi of Memnon, massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood for over 3,000 years.
A delicious lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Afterward, you have the option to take a motorboat ride to Banana Island, a peaceful spot filled with tropical plants where you can enjoy fresh fruit and Egyptian tea.
The final stop of the day is Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in the world. You’ll be guided through its vast courtyards and towering columns, with free time to explore and take photos.
This trip operates on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and is subject to availability. Return to Hurghada is at approximately 9:30 pm. All optional extras are available at your choice and are not included in the base price.
