The day’s tour got underway with a trip to the Aspendos Greco-Roman amphitheater. One of the finest surviving amphitheaters in the Mediterranean may be found at this site, which dates to 2 AD. It has a 15,000 capacity and is still in use today. During the summer, operas, ballets, and many other productions are held here.
The city of Side, formerly a Roman harbor, is where we stop next. Although Side is now a modern town, several ancient Roman remains are still spread throughout. The village, which dates back to 2 AD, was given to Cleopatra by Anthony as a token of his love for her. The neighborhood market in Side is a beautiful location with activity and a terrific stop for souvenir and gift purchasing. You will have plenty of time to spend some holiday money, so do not worry.

Did you know that this is one of the locations in Turkey that gets the most photos? Despite Manavget Falls’ low height, the water is quite strong. Over the rocks and across the rapids, white foam surges. The lovely tea shop right by the falls is a great place to take in the scenery. Additionally, here is where we will have a lovely local lunch (also included in the price).
